The Company

Compound Natural Foods, Inc. OTC:CFDJ is pursuing a growth strategy of acquiring natural foods and beverage manufacturers and marketers. Headline issues, such as trans fatty acids and the obesity epidemic that has challenged consumer confidence in mainstream goods, contributing to slack sales, is driving unprecedented growth in natural food and drinks. In fact, more consumers are now turning to natural products, with the number of natural food users estimated at 12% growth from 2004 to 2007, expected to surpass $27.5 billion in U.S. sales by 2007.

On October 21, 2004, Compound Natural Foods announced its first acquisition of Pure Nature LLC, and its HydroCharge(TM) product line of naturally formulated, lower sugar, lower carbohydrate, and lower calorie sports drinks. It is a sports drink that is not just good tasting, but good for your body, receiving an enthusiastic reception from professional athletes who are drinking it, as well as 'weekend warriors' and parents of kids participating in sports.

HydroCharge(TM) is a naturally formulated sports drink, that is unique because it has lower carbohydrates, lower calories and lower sugar, then the market leaders, yet increases energy, adds an influx of amino acids, replenishes electrolytes, gives a nutritional boost for muscle endurance, and through its scientific and exclusive formula, allows the body to absorb up to 80% of all nutrients. Among other ingredients, it contains Fulvic Acid, an all natural electrolyte, which is intended to rebuild the immune system and help maintain normal blood pressure by removing body toxins -- naturally. HydroCharge(TM) is also available with Creatine for adults and without it for children.

Now sold in Colorado, HydroCharge(TM) is being prepared for a national rollout, first in the natural food market, and later in mainstream supermarkets. New packaging has been designed and produced for HydroCharge's(TM) current line of boxes with individual packets of powder, and jars with a scoop. In addition, HydroCharge(TM) will soon be sold in new ready to drink bottles in 3 flavors: original Punch, Tangerine, and Pineapple/Peach, enabling it to compete head on with the market leaders. Pure Nature LLC, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, will continue to be headed by Joey Canyon, its founder, a semi-pro baseball pitcher, who turned entrepreneur and ran a health and nutrition store between 1995-98 and joined by Ron Nolan, CEO, who served as the National Sales Manager for Atkins Nutritionals since 1997. During his tenure with Atkins, Mr. Nolan played a significant role in the development of the company's full line of low-carbohydrate products, growing Atkins Nutritionals into the leading marketer of low-carbohydrate foods, snacks and one of the major firms in the nutrition marketplace.
